Amishi Jha, PhD, is a professor of psychology at the University of Miami. She’s also the Director of Contemplative Neuroscience for the Mindfulness Research and Practice Initiative, which she co-founded in 2010.

She’s written a new book called “Peak Mind.” In it, she shares how we can improve our attention spans and become better focused in just 12 minutes a day.

Amishi has conducted extensive research surrounding attention spans. She’s uncovered several important lessons about why we’re so distracted and the steps we can take to improve our focus.

Now, she’s sharing what she’s learned and the strategies that can help. This is especially important in today’s digital world where there are so many things vying for our attention at any given moment.
